Do I need an account?
No. Stack Quiz is 100% free with no sign-up required. Pick a topic and start immediately.
How does Play mode work?
You get a 20-minute countdown. Correct answers add +5 seconds, wrong answers deduct โ10 seconds. Questions auto-advance. The game ends at zero or when all questions are answered.
What is Learn mode?
Learn mode has no timer. Read each question, pick an answer, and study the explanation at your own pace - ideal for revision before an interview.
Can I turn off the timer?
Yes. Click the 'Timer On' pill in the top bar before your first answer to remove the countdown for that session.
Which topics are available?
React, JavaScript, Node.js, and MongoDB. TypeScript, Next.js, SQL, and System Design quizzes are coming soon.
